Professor TÓth Tibor, former chairman of the Saline Soil Professional Committee of the International Soil Science Federation, mainly introduced the surveying and mapping techniques, methods, and research results of saline alkali soil and vegetation under the theme of "Soil and Vegetation Affected by Salt". The attendees had extensive exchanges on the improvement and utilization of saline alkali land.

It is required to fully understand the research achievements of Hungarian experts by studying their published papers, and strengthen the accuracy of docking. Fully absorb and draw on the advanced methods and technologies of foreign experts, sort out the gaps and shortcomings, seek cooperation points, and synchronously promote the cooperation process from two time scales: short-term achievements, introduction, and long-term cooperative research, effectively improving the research level of efficient utilization of saline alkali land and salt tolerant plant resources in Institute of Coastal Agriculture.
