In order to improve the international exchange ability of young scientists, the English Training Course of HAAFS, undertaken by School of Foreign Language, Hebei Normal University, was held from November 1st 2017 to January 9th 2018. It will be the essential part of talent training. 35 young scientists from 12 research institutes attended the training course.

During the training, School of Foreign Language has built up an experienced teacher team, adopting group discussion, keynote speech, situational dialogue and other flexible teaching methods on English listening, speaking, reading and writing. The daily life was in school, all the participants have overcome difficulties, cherished the learning opportunity, and expressed the great enthusiasm for studying. Through the training, they have build up confidence in English communication, and have been greatly improved in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

At the graduation ceremony on January 9th , Vice-president WANG Haibo gave high praise to the young scientists for their diligent attitude and great improvement. He hoped that by taking this English training as the starting point, everyone should constantly improve the level of English, expand the international horizon, apply the English in practical work and contribute to international cooperation and communication of the academy.

Staff from International Cooperation Division of HAAFS provided services on learning and living for participants during the training. It is responsible for the division to sum up the experience of this training course and make efforts on next one.
