Water shortage is the key factor restricting the sustainable development of agriculture.
The Dryland Farming Institute of Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, has carried out systematic research on agricultural water-saving theory and technology, with focus on improving water and fertilizer use efficiency and the coordination of ecological environment and the sustainable development of agriculture. A number of research awards have been achieved, Eight local standards of Hebei Province have been formulated, and 13 relevant patents have been authorized.
We are looking for partners from the research institutes and scientists of foreign countries to conduct joint research on Planting Structure Adjustment and Agronomic Water Saving Techniques. The objectives are to develop water saving production model to balance the economic and ecological development.
