From June 29 to 30, 2023, the seminar of the Ministry of Science and Technology's foreign aid project "Research and Demonstration of Joint Technologies for Drought resistant Maize Cultivation in China and Ethiopia", sponsored by Hebei Xuntian Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and co organized by the Institute of Biotechnology and Food science of HAAFS, was successfully held in Zhangjiakou.

The meeting discussed the distribution, demonstration, and next overseas work plan of corn field planting in Ethiopia, and drafted a memorandum of understanding for cooperation, laying the foundation for future cooperation in a wider range of fields.
