In order to promote the demonstration work of the Ecoutri project on "International Cooperation in Agricultural Nutrition Management Based on Natural Solutions between China and the European Union", China Agricultural University and the Institute of Agricultural Resource and Environment of HAAFS, together with the Institute of Thermal Energy Engineering of Tsinghua University and Beijing Heshi Technology Co., Ltd., held an on-site observation and exchange meeting on hydrothermal cracking fertilizer technology in Haiyang, Shandong Province.
As the person in charge of the task one in Ecoutri project, Associate Researcher SHI Jianshuo from the Institute of Agricultural Resource and Environment of HAAFS introduced the background, project objectives, current schedule, and preliminary experimental results of nitrogen and phosphorus reduction technology research in the storage, treatment, and return of livestock and poultry wastewater. Professor CHEN Qing from China Agricultural University emphasized that the use of hydrothermal cracking technology for partial carbonization of aquaculture waste is one of the key innovative technologies in the Ecoutri project, which can effectively alleviate problems such as high ammonia volatilization and greenhouse gas emissions, severe nitrogen and phosphorus leaching in aquaculture farms and farmland. Through long-term cooperation between industry, academia, and research, it provides reference for the fertilization and value-added utilization of aquaculture waste.
The success of this observation and technical exchange meeting has provided strong support for the technical demonstration and landing of Ecoutri project task one, promoted technical exchange and cooperation between the project team and various cooperating units, and laid the foundation for the industrialization of ecological recycling technology based on natural solutions in the China Europe project.
